Victoria Line Cab

In 1996, TDI was commissioned by London Underground to develop a new styling concept for the Victoria Line underground (VLU) rolling stock.

Since this time, TDI has assisted in the development of various aspects of the train cab currently in build at the Bombardier factory in Derby. These include production modifications to the driver's and non-driver's desks along with a new type of footrest which is fully height adjustable.

TDI also designed a cab simulator environment for Australian supplier Sydac - who provided all the electronic simulator systems.
