Sydney's Millennium Train

TDI provided major assistance with EDI's (formerly Clyde Engineering) winning tender for Sydney's "Millennium" double deck train. This involved the preparation of a complete interior design package, exterior styling and driver’s cab ergonomics. 

TDI also produced a virtual reality presentation video featuring a ‘walk-through’ of the interior of the train. On award of contract, TDI collaborated with EDI on the production design of the interior and constructed a half car length, full size mock-up of one double deck vehicle.

The Millennium train, with enhanced comfort and safety, sleek lines and modern styling, it is the fourth generation of electric trains purpose built for the NSW rail network.
