John Brown studied industrial design in New Zealand and the Royal College of Art, London. He worked for 10 years as ID Design Manager for AID, then one of Europe's largest design groups. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Design and a past councillor of the Australian Academy of Design.

With over 35 years of professional experience, his designs have won Australian and international awards, resulted in numerous patents and importantly for clients have acheived market leadership in Asia, Europe, USA and Australia.
