The Government of Suqian in Jiangsu Province invites Minitram Systems (China) Ltd to build the first showcase Minitram system in their city. Minitram Systems are currently considering propositions from four major Chinese cities in the province. Whichever, city is finally selected, it is anticipated that it will also become home to an all new, purpose-built factory to assemble the vehicles and infrastructure components for both local markets and eventually for export back into Europe.
